Lanciano, Italy
From the 1st to 5th August 2022 we hosted in Lanciano, Italy the 2nd LTTA of the CreativeArts Project.
20 participants took part in the LTTA from all the parter countries: Greece, Italy, UK, Romania and Turkey.
All participants took part in an intensive programme to develop their creative thinking skills, enterpreneurial skills and critical thinking mindset.
The week in Lanciano, Italy was composed of different work-based workshops and activities to stimulate the creativity of the participants through the use of inclusive tools such as art, digital and storytelling. The activities allowed the participants to develop new useful skills and to be more included and active in the EU society.
With renewed energy, self-confidence and an improved skillset the participant were able to learn more about the power of storytelling and the importance of new digital technologies and how these can be used to create effective and inclusive messages.
During their stay in Lanciano the young participants got to discover the local territory and the traditions and customs typical from Abruzzo. They had the possibility to visit really important sites in the city and took part in active workshops that used storytelling as a way to better communicate and introduce the historical heritage to young people.
All participants were satisfied and happy of the experience and brought back to their peers new techniques, workshops and methodology that can benefit young people in disadvantaged conditions in the work with creativity and art.
